Transportation

The Berks County Intermediate Unit provides pupil transportation services in keeping with its state charter to lend support and assistance to Pennsylvania schools.

Transporting children to and from school and related events is a responsibility of the highest order. The safety of our “precious cargo” is the top priority of the entire BCIU Transportation Department. Nothing is more important to our operation than the security and well-being of the children and young adults entrusted to our care.

The BCIU Transportation Department transports regular education students for the following school districts and educational entities:

Conrad Weiser Area School District
Muhlenberg School District
Reading School District
Tulpehocken Area School District
YMCA Day Care
