Driver Education
In partnership with John's Driving School
The Berks County Intermediate Unit partners with John’s Driving School to provide Driver’s Education services to Berks County high school students.
John’s Driving School is a third generation, family owned and operated company headquartered in Falls Township, Pennsylvania. Since 1978, their mission has been to provide excellent instruction in the art of driving to new and experienced drivers.
John’s Driving School is Pennsylvania’s largest Pennsylvania Department of Education Certified Driver Training School. Berks County high school students can take advantage of both behind-the-wheel and online theory training.
Behind-the-Wheel Driver's Education
John’s Driving School provides a six-hour certified Behind-the-Wheel Defensive Driver’s Education Course. Over the course of three two-hour sessions, new drivers will progress through a structured driver’s education curriculum.
Online Theory Driver's Education
John’s Driving School offers a 30-hour Online Driver’s Education course that provides new drivers with the principles of driving and the necessary skills to obtain a Pennsylvania’s Driver’s License and become conscientious drivers.
