In addition to providing the intermediate unit’s almost 1,200 full-time, part-time, and substitute personnel with a variety of services pertinent to their employment, the BCIU’s Department of Human Resources also has an external focus.
Human Resources staff coordinates bimonthly meetings of Berks County school officials with human resources responsibilities. As part of this endeavor, they forward information of interest to these individuals as well as coordinate “requests for information” to be shared with the entire group.
