Inclusive Practices
We are dedicated to helping schools in supporting students in their least restrictive environment (LRE) for each student. To achieve this, Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams start with the general education setting and employ Supplementary Aids and Services before considering more restrictive options. Successful inclusive education for students with IEPs requires appropriate supports and services to ensure they can participate in and benefit from the general classroom and other natural environments. Our inclusive education approach is intentional, addressing the needs of each student not only academically but also in terms of their transition, behavior, and social/emotional development.
