Keeping Kids Safe Symposium
Presented by the Berks County Intermediate Unit in partnership with Berks County District Attorney’s Office and the Berks County Mental Health/Developmental Disabilities Program.
Keeping Kids Safe symposiums have been coordinated by the Berks County Intermediate Unit since 2010. BCIU brings in experts on school safety and security to Berks County. These symposiums are an opportunity for school administrators, counselors, psychologist, nurses, SAP, emergency response personnel, and community partners to hear from the leaders in the field.
The upcoming Keeping Kids Safe Symposium on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 will feature speakers from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Berks County Human Trafficking Task Force, and the Department of Homeland Security Center for Human Trafficking | Blue Campaign.
