On June 4, 2024, the BCIU Leadership Team convened for its annual strategic work session. During the meeting, they focused on several important aspects:
Driving Strategic Clarity: To align the leadership team members around shared goals and objectives, they reviewed progress, set clear goals, and developed strategies and direction for navigating ahead.
Enhancing Organizational Health: In addition to employee engagement and culture, they examined the organization’s ability to align around a common vision, execute strategies effectively, and respond to change to meet organizational goals.
Engaging in Dynamic Discussions and Actionable Insights: The team translated vision and strategy into actionable and measurable objectives to address organization-wide priorities.
The session also included a review of office priorities, financial updates, board policy and administrative regulations, the ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of belonging, Human Resources initiatives such as stay interviews and Title IX compliance, operations and facilities updates, Information Technology priorities including data privacy and cybersecurity, and Operations’ safety and security measures.
