On Thursday, September 12, 2024, Dr. Jill Hackman, BCIU Executive Director, and Dr. Michelle Reichard-Huff, Director of Early Childhood and Student Services (ECSS), had the pleasure of visiting a BCIU Deaf and Hard of Hearing classroom at Northwest Area Elementary School, located in the Reading School District.
During the visit, they were joined by Brian Hocking, Program Administrator; Heather Badgerow, Teacher of the Hearing Impaired; Kara Stezenko and Cristen Himmelberger, Interpreters; Matthew Gombar, Speech and Language Therapist; and Jennifer Bertolet, Principal of Northwest Area Elementary School.
