On Thursday, October 24, 2024, Dr. Jill Hackman, Berks County Intermediate Unit (BCIU) Executive Director, had the privilege of touring two Project SEARCH locations, Penn State Health | St. Joseph Medical Center and the DoubleTree by Hilton in Reading, with Dr. Michelle Reichard-Huff, BCIU Director of Early Childhood and Student Services (ECSS), and Jessica Head, ECSS Program Administrator.
During the tour, they connected with several key members of the Project SEARCH team, including Amanda Bentz, Project SEARCH Instructor at Penn State Health | St. Joseph Medical Center; Laura Henning, Project SEARCH Instructor at the DoubleTree in Reading; as well as many dedicated Project SEARCH student interns and building staff.
