Katelyn Gruber, Professional Development and Technology Project Specialist in the Office of Professional Learning, has been named employee of the month for March 2025. 

“Katelyn plays a vital role in supporting numerous initiatives within the Office of Professional Learning, including the STEM Lending Library, Academic Challenge, Secondary Art Show, Music in the Schools, STEM showcases, and FLEX. Her involvement extends across a variety of projects, demonstrating her dedication and ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively,” shared Katie Kehm, Program Administrator in the Office of Professional Learning. “No matter the task, Katelyn approaches it with a commitment to excellence. She is always willing to learn new skills and adapt to changing needs, ensuring that projects and initiatives receive the best possible support.” 

A lifelong Kutztown resident, Katelyn is a graduate of Kutztown Area High School and attended Kutztown University. She is a proud mother of three—15-year-old Ava, 14-year-old Mady, and 9-year-old Mason, who keep her busy with their many sports, including soccer, football, volleyball, basketball, and softball! 

Katelyn shares that the best part of her job is working with an amazing team that feels like family and having the encouragement and support from the BCIU to continue to grow and develop in her career.
