Representatives from the BCIU attended the 70th Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials (PASBO) Annual Conference at the Hershey Lodge on March 13 and 14, 2025. Through a collaborative effort across the organization, the BCIU team had the opportunity to showcase services, connect with current customers, and meet new potential partners at their booth in the exhibit hall.
The Office of Information Technology showcased key services, including eTaxTrax, Infinite Campus, the Print Services Center, and Cybersecurity Essentials, offering innovative solutions for schools and organizations. The Office of the Executive Director highlighted the BCIU’s Marketing, Design, and Communications Services, providing expertise in design, print, and digital marketing, branding and logo design, social media campaign analytics, and strategic consulting. The booth and most of the deliverables were designed by the team.
In collaboration with transportation administrators from IU 24 and IU 12, John Coakley, BCIU Program Administrator of Transportation, presented a session on the second day of the conference on the common challenges faced in coordinating transportation services and the roles and expectations of communication among school districts, contractors, and intermediate units. In addition, Bringing everything together for a professional and cohesive presence at the PASBO Conference was a true team effort! A special thank you to the Maintenance Department’s Mike Hoffert and Joe Wysowaty for their invaluable assistance with booth transport and assembly.
