Office of Operations
The Office of Operations provides maintenance, operations, safety and security, and other support services to all Berks County Intermediate Unit programs; as well as offering services to internal and external clients and partners.
Key Areas Include:
Transportation
The BCIU transports regular education students for the following school districts and educational entities:
Antietam School District (K-6)
Berks County Early Intervention Program
Muhlenberg School District
Reading School District
Berks County Head Start Program
Berks County School District Sports/Activity/Field Trip Transportation
Operations & Maintenance Services
Grounds and maintenance of (11) IU owned and leased facilities
Custodial services for (12) IU owned and leased facilities
