Educators from across Berks County and beyond gather for the Berks County Intermediate Unit’s annual events and conferences. This two-day conference emphasizes instructional best practices, innovation and practical classroom application. The sessions are designed to deepen understanding of instructional tools and techniques that promotes student centered learning and equity.

Common Inservice Day is a professional development sessions are offered for Art, Berks Area School Counselors Association (BASCA)/Nurses, ESL, Family and Consumer Science, Gifted, Music, Health and Physical Education, Library, Technology Education, and World Languages.

The Keeping Kids Safe Symposium is an opportunity for school administrators, counselors, psychologists, nurses, SAP, emergency response personnel, and community partners to hear from the leaders in the field. 

The BCIU’s Leadership Series is three days of learning designed for teams of district-level curriculum leaders, school-based administrators, and teacher leaders.
